Stinger Fast Tool Change (FTC)

  • Description - The Stinger FTC uses a combination of software and a stationary touch pad to allow for the end user to create files that have multiple tools. This option saves time as well as decreasing the chance of user error while performing a manual tool change. (Please see the picture for the Recoil to see the stationary pad)

 

Laser Sight for X&Y

  • Description - The laser helps users to set the X and Y location of the Stinger. This option saves time and is more accurate than trying to set to the center of the bit. All you do is jog the machine to your desired location and press the button on the control screen to set the laser zero. The machine knows the offset of the spindle and the laser center. The laser also has a on and off button to control this function. (Please see the picture for the Recoil to see the location of the laser)

 

Stinger I Vacuum

  • Description - The Stinger table top vacuum system allows for the end user to use there Stinger with a vacuum. This option is for the table top only, vacuum pump not included. The vacuum top quickly bolts to the Stinger's factory top. This allows the vacuum to be used on machines that have the T-Slot option as well, helping the Stinger to be the most versatile machine in its class. (Some customers use the Fein Turbo III with good results)

 

Stinger Performance Package

  • Description - The Stinger Performance Package gives you 3 options that save you time and make setting up new jobs a snap. The good thing is that it also saves you some money. Check the price form for prices. These options can work alone, but in a package give the Stinger the feel of a production machine.

      The package includes.

  • Auto ON/OFF - Starts and stops your spindle or router from g-code.

  • Z Touch Pad - Helps set the machine up for the thickness of the material you are about to cut by measuring the length of the bit you are using.

  • Stinger FTC - A way to use more than one tool in a file and quickly change between the different tools.

 

  
               
 

Stinger Available Options

2.25 HP Porter Cable Router Standard

  • Description - The Porter Cable 2.25 HP router is a variable speed router that gives the Stinger the power to carve through the ruff stuff right out of the box.

3.25 HP Porter Cable Router Upgrade

  • Description - Upgrade from the 2.25 HP to a 3.25 HP Porter Cable Model 7518. This option gives you even more power to perform through cuts in solid wood.
  • This option includes a counter balance to off set the extra weight of the larger router.

 

1 KW (1.34 HP) ER-20 HSD/SEV Collet Spindle

or

1.7 KW (2.28 HP) ER-25 HSD/SEV Collet Spindle

  • Description - Ultra quite high performance. A spindle upgrade not only takes noise out of the shop it adds value to your router. The Stinger is an industrial quality CNC Router made for the small shop or hobbyist. Add this option to it and you have a small format CNC that is capable of running long shifts without stress to bearing and other components.  

  • The 1.0 KW Spindle runs off of a 110V 20A service.

  • The 1.7 KW Spindle runs off of a 220V 20A Single Phase service.

T-Slot Clamping Table

  • Description - The T-Slot Clamping Table gives the Stinger the bite to hold down your parts. Four flush mounted aluminum slots give the Stinger a wide range of holding points. Four heavy duty knobbed clamps included. 

Mini Recoil Indexing Lathe

  • Description - The Mini Recoil like the larger version on the Cobra Series Routers is a woodworking lathe that has been fitted with a high torque step motor & driver. This motor/driver combination gives the Recoil lathe the ability to break down the segments of a cylinder in to degrees. Unlike traditional lathes that spin without stopping the Recoil can rotate stop and change directions many times in a file. This ability helps 3D software like Aspire and others to control the lathe and make wonderful 3D carved turnings. 

WinCNC Control System Upgrade

  • Description - WinCNC control software is an industrial controller that gives the Stinger the ability to truly be an production CNC. CAMaster also offers its Remote Technician Support (RTS) with this option. 

  • All WinCNC systems are tested by our technicians with your router and control PC. 

V-Carve Pro

  • Description - Upgrade from Cut 2D to V-Carve Pro and you will have the ability to use VectorArt 3D files, nesting, V-Carving and more.

Photo V-Carve Pro

  • Description - PhotoVCarve instantly converts photographs and images into high quality toolpaths that can be run on your Sringer. One great example of this would be Lithophanes.

Aspire

  • Description - Upgrade to Aspire to have the ability to perform 3D modeling. Aspire comes with a disk with 7 hours of training and 50 free 3D models from VectorArt 3D.
